SQA Provide Waxing Services

Waxing is the most popular method of hair removal in the beauty industry. It is the most preferred choice for clients in the salon as it is quick and effective. It ensures repeat business as clients need to return to the salon for maintenance appointments every 4-6 weeks. You will learn:

• Relevant Health and Safety

• Function of the skin

• Anatomy of the hair

• Hair growth cycle

• Causes of hair growth

• How to carry out waxing services on specific areas (lip, chin, eyebrows, legs, bikini and underarm)

• How to prepare for waxing services

• Aftercare advice

This unit is SQA approved and you will be fully qualified once the course is complete. This course is recognised with both employers and insurance companies. It involves theory and practical learning. Class sizes will be no more than 4 students at a time to ensure students are receiving the best support possible. If for any reason you require one on one support then this is also an option. Cost of course is £350. All products for the course will be provided however you can bring your own kit to the course.
