The SQA Provide Waxing Services Course is a standalone, SQA-approved qualification designed to develop professional face and body hair removal skills, with no prior completion of SVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Beauty Therapy required.

Health & Safety: Relevant salon hygiene, sanitation, infection control, and client safety protocols.
Anatomy & Physiology: Function of the skin, hair anatomy, hair growth cycles, and underlying causes of hair growth.
Treatment Preparation: Pre-waxing consultations, skin analysis, hygiene setup, and client preparation.
Practical Waxing Techniques: Precision hair removal for the lip, chin, eyebrows, legs, bikini line, and underarms.
Aftercare & Client Maintenance: Professional aftercare guidance, soothing protocols, and advice on routine appointment scheduling.
This unit is SQA-approved, fully insured, and recognised worldwide by employers.
To guarantee dedicated guidance, class sizes are strictly limited to a maximum of four students, with optional one-to-one support available.
We provide all course materials; however, you may also supply and use your own kit.
